Happy Birthday!

Besides being Yule for many, today happens to be my birthday as well! Over on Facebook, a bunch of friends who know me all too well have flooded my feed with geeky things such as these:
Captain Hammer BirthdayCaptain Tightpants Birthday

I turn 39 today, which feels a whole lot like 38 and 37, which also feel a whole lot like 34 and even 30. Not so much like 20 as I’m older, wiser, and more published, but still not all that different.

Besides being blessed with a lovely amount of Nathan Fillion, I find myself surrounded by well-wishes and games.

If you’d like to help celebrate my birthday, you can! Go drop a review of one of my books on Amazon or Goodreads (and cross-post to Barnes & Nobles if you really love me). It can even be five words or less.

If you haven’t read something of mine, make it a great birthday for me and go snag a book. Heck, “Hungry” is still free on Amazon, B&N, iTunes, Kobo, etc.

And if you can’t do that, well, you know what they say… Actually, just go do something nice for someone. Find someone in need of carryin’.

Raven Oak

Bestselling science fiction & fantasy author Raven Oak is best known for Amaskan’s Blood, Class-M Exile, and the collection Joy to the Worlds: Mysterious Speculative Fiction for the Holidays.

She spent most of her K-12 education doodling stories and 500 page monstrosities that are forever locked away in a filing cabinet. When she's not writing, she's getting her game on, enjoying cartography, or staring at the ocean.

She lives in Seattle, WA with her husband, and their three kitties who enjoy lounging across the keyboard when writing deadlines approach.
