When a veterinary medical journal spoke about using MRIs to decipher when dogs and cats are in pain, are tired or hungry, or other states, I loved the idea of using such science to eventually create a collar that could do the same thing. No, it won’t tell you what your cat’s thinking, but it could give you basic states such as tired, pain, or thirsty. That’s how “Hungry” came about.
