Reviews rolling in!

Reviews are starting to roll in on Dragon Springs & Other Things: A Short Story Collection Book I and wow! All 4/5 or 5/5 stars and the comments the reviewers are leaving… The stories are definitely connecting with people, which is what every writer wants.

Also, I know I tend to write very diverse characters (lots of LGBTQ+ and people of color protagonists) but I don’t think I realized how much until reviewers were pointing it out (in a positive manner). So if that’s your bag, you’ll definitely enjoy these collections. Here’s some of the buzz thus far… (Click the links for full reviews)

[About the story Peace Be with You, Friend:] A sweet and touching story of the end of the world and it’s (sic) last two living inhabitants, a starving dragon and a young girl.  I loved their conversations and interactions down to the very end.”

Raven Oak does a great job in writing this and creating a great collection of multi-genre stories. It worked overall and each story worked with the other. It left me excited to read Vol 2.”

Thought-provoking, evocative tales. This is an interesting futuristic blend of short stories…I recommend this collection for readers of science fiction and for readers wanting more LGBTQ+ and minority protagonists.”

This book was definitely a trip. As a former barista, a situation in the story “Mouth” was relatable, a little icky, and you’ll have to read it to find out why. I can’t stop thinking about it!”
