For some light reading, I just finished web comic Allie Brosch’s book, Hyperbole and a Half: Unfortunate Situations, Flawed Coping Mechanisms, Mayhem, and Other Things That Happened.
Hyperbole and a Half Book
If you’ve not visited her site, you are missing out! She writes about very real topics in a way that makes me laugh until my sides hurt. Two of my favorites are: God of Cake and ALOT.
Her book is just as good as the web comic, though I wish it had more of the newer content than it did. About half of the book is content from the website, and the other half is newer content not seen on her page. Either way, it was an enjoyable read that had me laughing until I cried, even while battling a sinus infection.
What are you reading these days?
